Elecster and Finno Solutions have been collaborating for a long time. Together, we have adapted existing machines to better meet changing needs.
The goal has been to improve performance and increase capacity without having to replace the entire machine. In some of the equipment, the automation is nearing the end of its lifecycle, which hinders further development. In addition, the availability of spare parts and manufacturer support for older systems is limited.
In collaboration, changes have been made to the machines, automation has been updated, and processes have been automated.
"Solutions have been implemented in a practical manner on-site with the machines, allowing the functionality of the changes to be verified directly in production", - says Timo Juvonen, former production manager.
Through this development work, the machines have been able to be utilized for longer and their performance improved in stages. This has allowed production to be developed without the need for extensive new investments.
